Dear Julian, perfect, a soft rainy day, good for the new fresh growth, nice when you know there are hotter, drier days in store!! The onion is lovely, begging to be peeled, cut and sautéed. By the way, how is the painter's potager? Anna.

Beautiful Julian, and you have described my favourite start to a day, misty and light rain, without much wind I'm guessing. Love this onion too, I can almost reach out and touch the papery skin through my computer screen.
