Hi Julian!
That is an nice sunset scene!
Have a peaceful holliday in Thailand and a good hand for more of your wonderful paintings!
Thanks and a smile! Frauke
Dear Julian, hope your taste buds are having fun! Oh, I am now thinking chilli, coconut, lime and lemongrass!!Seafood! Are you a durian lover yet, Julian?!
This painting gives such a true impression of South East Asian humidity and heat on that vast stretch of beach. The sea shimmers like mother of pearl. Soon comes the sudden nightfall, like turning off a light!
Have a wonderful holiday!
Anna.
Hello, Julian,
I have been looking at your paintings, looking forward to the next one, and enjoying everyone of them. We have your two books, and our local bookstore keeps them on the shelves.
This sunset is particularly beautiful. The other people commenting have said it all. It is at once peacefull and yet alive. I love sunsets anyway.
When we were in Marseille recently, I tried to contact you but missed. I would love to visit again, and come to your area.
In the meantime, I will enjoy the Mont-Ventoux and the landscapes around you through your eyes.
Please make a print for sale of this one!
Enjoy your trip and do some more great little paintings. Merci,
Françoise
Dear Julian,
I hope you enjoy Thailand and if you should venture
up to Changmai - please do visit my son's
coffee cafe. COFFEE TIME is right near the city
gates - My son's name is Alec Bever; he co=owns operates with his wife, Meimei. They roast on the premise beans harvested in the northern hills; a part of the proceeds go back up to the tribal community.
I'm looking forward to receiving "my" painting when it arrives.
Have fun !
Carroll Bever
