Dear Julian, the simplicity and purity of this still life really warms my heart. This timeless and sure sign of spring is in my garden too,little jonquils mixed with lungwort or pulmonaria, a beautiful little perennial in violet blue and pink, standing up to the fierce yellow of the narcissus. And green shoots everywhere. I am inspired!! Anna.

Thank you for this. We still have over a foot of snow and today's high will be -6C. I think I will have to go out to pick up some daffodils, or more probably tulips, to speed up the season. Susan (Montreal)

An exquisite painting, I really love the colours in this composition, it makes me want to paint more Spring flowers now.
