Autumn road

You went to Venice and came back to green at this time of year! Here in New England in the States leaves have turned colors and are falling fast, and today in NY City, we had fluffy white swirling flakes of snow!

Dear Julian,having spent a decade in Asia I feel empty and sad today.
It is comforting to see the stillness and peace in "Autumn Road".How privileged are we to be spared, but for how long......!

Sudden moment of folly on a big tree: all the dashes of yellow and orange magically turn into cute birds dancing dancing dancing in a singing saraband! We can hear:"Sun is there tweet tweet sun is sun there is there is is sun there there sun is there is, tweet tweet, tweet tweet..."
Then the sun, entertained, asks: "How do you say? Tweet tweet?"
And the tree answers: "You are right, Majesty, birds say tweet tweet".
