"roll, roll, roll in the hay!" from the film, Young Frankenstein. How do you take such a simple scene and make it art is something I am trying to do but you succeed?

Dear Julian, Forcalquier and surrounds must be a very inspiring place, full of wonderful things to paint. Today's painting of the Haute Provence landscape and the billowy summer clouds is lovely. Is there really an academy of scents and flavours in Forcalquier? How very French!! Anna. P.S.
