Julian, I would like my bids to not show my name. Can you help with this request. We are traveling in France and Italy later this month. Are you close to Les Baux?

A soothing meditation on the colour blue and the way that light creates the blues in the painting.

BLUE
Each one of us treasure many things and one special treasure is the color "cobalt blue". Everything stops when I see this color either in clothes, in print, paintings, dishes and the sky above. Julian when I opened this email and my eyes saw this beautiful "blue" bottle. What can I say, you touched my heart. Thanks for sharing.

Juian, loved the simplicity and elegance of blue bottle. with the grey background had the feeling of a Whistler. Hope the liquer was tasty whatever the berries are.
I have a book coming out next week of black and white photographs I took over a 16 year period following a farmer around trying to survive on a small farm. It is called "Uncle John, Portraits of a True Yankee Farmer" published by Bauhan Publishing. cheers, geo

Painter’s notes

The bottle, a gift from friends, once contained a liqueur derived from bilberries(?) or some similar fruit, something blue—I don't remember drinking it but it's empty now.
