Very glad to be receiving your postcards as I am currently travelling in Spain and Portugal. I am painting everyday which is a luxury, when at school teaching the opportunities are less frequent.

Dear Julian, you've been sorely missed! It's funny how addicted I've become and no doubt many others,to the P f P. That fillip of surprise and beauty is very habit forming! It's very generous of you to share your work this way and I hope you are making a good living by it, its richly deserved.

Todays lemon is perfect and represents some of the best in your still lives in my opinion, rather iconic! It seems to be bursting with jus, just waiting for a very sharp knife.
