The blue background is lovely, but I especially love the sienna(?) brown tone where the background meets the tabletop. This looks like a daylight painting instead of a painting done at night. I also like the nice cool green on the onion skin - you are a master in seeing color.

what delightful colours on this painting !! I love the subtle colours, they really make you look at the painting in detail and try to wonder what colours actually have been used to make them up when colour mixing. I find it particularly interesting to try and understand what colours you have used in the shadows!!
