“A pass from our valley over to the north side of the Ventoux, known as the Combe Obscure. It looks more severe than it is though my parents (not renowned walkers) once climbed it ending up in Malucene by default as they couldn't face turning back”

This is a favourite subject of mine,a less travelled path and closer to the sky.
Wow!!!!!!! I thought driving up to the top of Mt Ventoux was challenging enough, but walking on this path... good for them.
Love the feel of this. Thanks!

Love the abstract quality of the picture but I find the bright blue bit near the top a bit distracting, If that was your intention you succeeded. I could look at this painting every day and find something new in it each time.
Funny! I would keep right on walking too, rather than turn back.
Lovely! Somehow this reminds me of climbing Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh.
