Love it, especially the extra bit of stem!
Beautifully painted, so atmospheric, I love it, you have so inspired me through your still life paintings to try to improve my own work, having taken up painting as a retiral project, my paintings may never sell but at least I get my five a day fruit intake when a still life is completed, I look forward to viewing your next painting - George
Oooohh love this one Julian! Lovely atmosphere! Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful weekend with your family.
And painted by you...just so very beautiful
I admire and enjoy your work, and the quince is superb. I am an amateur oil painter since retirement, and would like to know the size of your brushes please Thanks NickL.
Wow! This quince actually looks French, with the stem and the curve at the top - at least that's how I perceive it. I love the depth, too.
I love this painting , great light , makes you want to take a bite. You are an inspiration to so many of us. am always looking forward to seeing your daily paintings greetings Evelyne
I just don't know how you can get so much out of so simple a motif and such a limited palette.
May I know please, the colours you used and mixed for lovely tones in back and foreground? Also size of brushes used? Thank you
