Ally appealing mountains dale and sky in the distance.
lovely golds and greens...the mountain reminded me of Cezanne's Mount Victoire...glad you still have fall color...we are having 7 inches of snow today and it isn't even winter yet. cheers, geo
I hope you do have pleasant fall weather so you can continue to paint these beautiful fall colors. Our fall weather turned to freezing temperatures and SNOW today.
Beautiful picture, as well as being such a lovely scene I just love the way that you have brought the trees on the left to 'life', many artists are happy with a vague green 'blob' to represent foliage, this is so well done, inspirational as ever, thank you, now where are my brushes and easel, George
Julien - your incredible work has been a source of deep pleasure over these last weeks of hurricanes and now a nor'easter; wind, rain, snow, no power, and more wind/rain/snow. Your art is a brilliant refuge in an otherwise dismal weather period. Thank you!
Oddly the open angle made by the cut-out of the foliage and the vineyard indicates 4:55 PM!
Superb quality of incandescent light...it shimmers.
