I agree so much with Evelyn Mahrt about the chips.They look like clouds for me,slowly drifting across the painting above a green ocean and suggesting the movement from the left to the right side: as a symbol of the irremediable passage of time;the everlasting motion...
Loved Apples in Green bowl. Great composition and especially loved the insertion of terra cotta chips in bowl edge separating the complimentary colors. Excellent. Hope you get a great price for this.
