Perfectly done! Love the green and the red together...
I really like the perspective on this painting. And also, the complementary colors.
Love this one Julian! Beautiful use of complementary colors and I love the intimate view point!
Beautiful Julian , they look good enough to eat.
My favorite green bowl.
The chips on the bowl are so necessary - you know how to do it! I'm enjoying reading Ruth's book, Julian.
I agree so much with Evelyn Mahrt about the chips. They look like clouds for me,slowly drifting across the painting above a green ocean and suggesting the movement from the left to the right side: as a symbol of the irremediable passage of time;the everlasting motion...
Loved Apples in Green bowl. Great composition and especially loved the insertion of terra cotta chips in bowl edge separating the complimentary colors. Excellent. Hope you get a great price for this. Just bought 3 copies of Ruth's book for my two daughters and my 97 year old Mom. They all love her writing (we are all great readers and love a well written book). cheers, geo
