Touches of powdery and fruity colour, as suddenly seen through cloudy eye lens. The lights on the road magically metamorphose into blazing stars. The yellow lights in the foliage and the pînk ones on the blue shadow of the path look like distant galaxies.Does this view belong to a parallel Earth?
LOVE THIS ONE.....ONE OF YOUR BEST COMPOSTIONS ENJOY THE SUMMER......IN PARIS SAW THE EXHIBTION AT THE PINACOTETEQUE: FANTASTIC!
Now, I'm jealous! Are you back in your house now?
Thanks for the information!I'm going to,right away. What was I thinking?
Fab shadows. Love the play of light.
Beautiful!
Julian, got my very first "daily painting" on line today after just subscribing. It was indeed wonderful with great colors in the shadows and beautiful contrast with the tones in the fields and the blue far off hills. I could sense the atmosphere and light of the scene...the best part of en plein. Only 200 yards from your house,, pack up your painting and easel and happily go home for a great supper and a glass of vin with Ruth. cheers and thanks for the posting. georgia
After our winter class with the Pulidos, the 6 students decided to continue our weekly sessions. In the real heat we paint on my porch overlooking a small river. (I'm afraid the other 5 have to lug their stuff to me.) But it is so peaceful there, and the light is beautiful. This beautiful painting captures that feeling for me as well. Thank you for all these wonderful scenes of your adopted homeland.
so calm and peaceful - i sense a calico dress and a lacey curtain billowing in a zepha like breeze not too far - love it
