Hope the opera is wonderful. The road in your painting looks as though it should lead to someplace as beautiful as Paris.

That bend looks like a nice place to rest , under the fresh shadows,have a nice piece of bread with fromage and some fresh wine , call it a picnic, the Opera still be there (in Paris)enjoy your day. Almost forgot great oil!

NYC's been stormy the past few days, but the sky has had the same intense white light as in this gorgeous painting of a sunny day....

I was at the opera last week here in Melbourne Australia to see the Merry Widow. I went down to have a peek into the orchestra pit and thought to myself oh, so this is what Ruth is doing! How lovely it must be for both of you to share your lives with so much talent. Enjoy the opera.
