Your paintings are so simple, yet so beautiful! I wish I could paint like that! Provence is a magical place, I have been there and will always treasure the memories.
Have fun in Paris!
Marika in Colorado
Wow. This is beautiful....I don't know if the changes (of light, of schedules, and perhaps of point of view or philosophy) occasioned by your recent fire have anything to do with this, other than that creativity rises to meet whatever challenges present themselves, but this is truly luminous!!!
So glad to hear that you and family doing well after fire ordeal! I hope you all have a great time in Paris.
This painting is beautiful, reminds me of woods in Pennsylvania mountains where I grew up, road trailing off into autumn.
I, too, have been wondering whether it was the recent unexpected events or the new light in a new locale, or...??? Recent paintings have been increasingly vivacious and exciting to me. I almost hold my breath as I peek into each new posting and I am rewarded with ever more vibrant and engaging images. Hope your new clothing contributes to making the holidays cozy and happy! With good wishes from the mountains of AZ...
A poetic oriental rug!
The effusion of colors marvellously overflow, flood the lines!
It's wonderful to look the "path" of light crossing the "real" violet path and building a virtual road, like a twin, towards the lower left corner of the canvas!
"Winter light",to my eyes, deserves to be in Orsay museum, close to Renoir and Felix Ziem paintings!
