Fabulous rendition! I want to eat some right now!
So glad you stored up all these wonderful paintings

I can SMELL it! Wonderful! And wonderful that you are once more well and wielding a paint brush. Thank you for sharing your talent with us all.

Julian, I can't/don't/won't even eat bread (I love it; it doesn't love me) but this loaf has me longing. Glad it's artwork. It's so well done it (nearly) satisfies the lust!

You should get your srtength back in a jiffy that way. Great painting, outstanding realism.

You've made even the wrapping look delicious. So glad you're back.

Julian, another wonderful piece, and thank you for adding the new feature of allowing us to click and enlarge the paintings for a better look.

What skill--soft and crisp strokes. Amazing,
beautiful bread and wrappings. pnd

When I was little, my dad would take me to the corner store. He would by a newspaper, and a freshly delivered loaf of bread in a paper wrapper. When we got home the end looked much like this one.
Nice memory for me; thank you.

Shades of Manet - that's what I'm reminded of - I love his still lifes, too, Julien. Your painting is just right and lovely.
