What-- a landscape? No poissons d'avril??? I am in Valbonne, to the east of you -- and today, my white iris flowered.. so many wonderful wild flowers, too. Love your paintings....
Hi Julian You have caught a blissful moment perfectly. For me this is one of your best landscapes. You have skillfully deployed, light, colour, shape and shadow to give all your viewers this spring view. Thanks.
Julian, This exemplifies the term "impressionism". The light and mood is sublime.
Such a beautifully, deceptively simple painting. The shapes of the cypress and vineyard are lovely.
I thought Morning near Bedoin was the best painting you have ever done and now comes the real best. Wonderful! What colors. I can feel the spring. I live in cherry country but in the north so we have to wait two more months for our blossoms. This is a treet to see spring so early even if it is in a painting.
Julian, I have just discovered your work and bought your book. I love your paintings.
My friend, Anita, suggested that I look at your paintings. When I got to your site, I realized that I had previously looked at your works, which means I was attracted to your work awhile back. I look forward to viewing your daily works. Sincerely, Evie
