Hello, Julian,
I asked you a few questions at the English Bookshop last Thursday, 18 November.
I am interested in this painting, as it would remind me of my walk today (in the Roques Hautes area near le lac du Bimont and Mount Sainte-Victoire).
I find the other landscape painted on 21 November, I think, also attractive.
A still life would also interest me.

hi pierre, ruth here. it was lovely to meet you in aix and nice to hear from you! i love that this reminded you of your walk this morning as of course it is a painting of our walk this morning. i said to julian how magical the sunlight was behind those last leaves.....and here we are! so nice to know you are near and appreciating the same views!
As another sometimes plein air painter, yes, it's gotten a bit chilly for painting out-of-doors here as well though many days are still warm enough.
I like your sky, the light shining through the leaves and your disappearing road.
Wish I had met you and Ruth in the bookstore like Pierre!
I am walking in this painting. So is my dog tho mostly chasing rabbits - who only hop away to be a muse to her. Now I need to master paypal. Tomorrow's lesson? Ruth! Happy thanksgiving from the colonies!
