Utterly gorgeous!
Your beautiful book arrived safely in Savannah today. Glad to see Babu made the cut.
Ah, the black ones again!! Fantastic. Yesterday my jovial grass cutting farmer gave me a big box of the pink-blushing yellow & cream variety - which I'd always assumed to be just not yet ripe. Instead it was a different and equally delicious experiencer. The box lasted 5 days & every fruit was perfect! Do you have them too? I feel a little of booklet on cherries coming on.... J
Amazing painting! Throughout night, a stick insect has decided to metamorphose into a delicious bit of fruit-tree... Amazing Nature!
jill! nice to see you in the comments box! yes we do have those xherries too, and last year we made jam with both varieties. the white one was particullary scrummy. tasted like plum. (freeze some for me julian for when i get back)

This is one of my most favourites. Seemingly simple subject but great picture.
