This is simply gorgeous, Julian. The soft pear against the glass is wonderful.

The arrangement of shape, color, and value is very precise. Like chess, or geopolitical strategy.

This pear seems to be a fragment of the planet Venus. Venus and her two bodyguards...Mysterious scorching hot still life!

This would make a lovely accompaniment with today's onion; darf and light and golden yellow together.

darf should be dark
