Excellent work, Julian! I love the faint, reflected light on the lemon in the back. Nice touch.

I only discovered Postcard from Provence by chance yesterday evening. Then I spent the rest of the evening viewing the archive. Wonderful paintings of an area we know quite well - and super still lifes.

Hi Julian Your still-life paintings of fruit and vegetables make me realize that I should look more carefully at the colour of the real ones as the light picks up and creates variations in the colour of the skins. Thanks for this and others.

The plural of "still life" is actually "still lifes" Julian - I love all your paintings!
