A close match between clouds and roofs'shapes.
The wonderful trembling golden oatfield carefully disrupts the stillness of the moment
but does not break the spell of that untroubled atmosphere. Sounds of music seem to come out of the houses, andante tempo, cello ?...While Nicolas(Poussin),Pieter (Brueghel) and Vincent(Van Gogh)are talking over God Nature Ladies and Philosophy... Lost in the field...
Until the harvest.

My wife and I, together with our golden retreiver Harry, enjoyed a long walk through a rippening wheat field close to our village of Colwall last night. The light reflected on the harvest was brilliant and very similar to your atmospheric image. This summers feeling is captured beautifully in your echo from the season, thank you..

Thank you Ann. You know, like Julian, Poussin, Brueghel and Van Gogh all three have painted unforgettable harvest-fields.
