Julian, Apparently being indoors agrees with you! Another masterful still life. You are king of the white highlights and the fabulous nuances of texture. Here in New England we have sleet and ice and gray, so this is a welcomed delight of winter color. Many thanks!
And this exudes a baroque jewel of thought, intensity of comfort nestled in the hamlet. Kind of like a dreaming hibernation... scored richly with color sound. Happy New Year to you and yours.
But who'd know it looking at this luscious jewel of a painting. Pomegranates always make me think of summer and every tree in fruit. If the snow keeps you inside painting this level of painting, I say Bravo to the snow.
Hi Julian Happy New Year! This painting is luscious and very tactile. I can feel the pomegranate seeds in my mouth.
I'm not much with words but I can feel that bowl. This is what I aspire to. Have enjoyed your emails. Thanks, Sue
Marvelous color contrast and vibrancy!
Julian - In this and the last still life - your greens really shine. Perfect color!
J'adore la brillance dans tes couleurs...ce vert est magnifique!
Wonderful jewels with terrific visible brushwork.
Who'd have ever thought that one could fall in love with a pomegranate and a green bowl? This is sensational! I just want to keep looking at it.
