The first thing that we must keep in mind is that these are three hour studies...
so with that time frame a painter cannot always go back and alter slight details.
and what you are achieving is wonderfully fresh, the water nearer the bank needs to be fraction lighter to define the darkest area under the bridge, are the blue sweeps defined enough do they acieve what you wanted at the time....should touches of colour be put in back ground or elements of light...
now I don't paint can't paint for a toffee...have a pleasant day.
To be honest Julian
anyone who gets out there and does what he loves every day has the strength of mind to conquer the world. So stuff what I said yesterday and I will try and keep my mouth silent and just enjoy looking at your work every day...reading all the comments you give so many so much pleasure!
Hello Julian,
You have created such a rich and evocative space with your "Woodland Bridge" that I want to walk right into the scene. Gorgeous color and brushwork! Thanks for sharing.
