I just received, yesterday and today, two of the gorgeous still lifes I was lucky enough to buy. It's wonderful to study and contrast the provenance of the light. Here the apples themselves are receiving the light from the left side, but the light on the wall seems lit up on the right. Puzzling as well as beautiful.
