i love how the leaf on the apricot (never seen an apricot leaf before) echoes the almonds, and how the cracks of both meet. beautiful.

I just returned from Provence where my cousin told me to bite into an almond from a tree to show me the surprise inside...so I was happy to see your beautiful painting (we also ate apricot marmalade in the morning with bread).
