Hi Julian, I LOVE poppies, "klaprozen", and especially the loveley way you put them down in your paintings. One month earlier I believe than last year. Do so more !

A month earlier than 2005 two weeks earlier than 2006 in a few years they'll be out in March

Julian - the Met office has confirmed that we've just had the warmest April on record - and the month doesn't even finish until Monday!

The average temperature in central England from April 1-25 was 11.1 degrees Celsius, 3.4 degrees above the norm and the highest since records began in 1659.

So the Poppies are Klaprozen? I left Netherlands as child but remember I loved Klaprozen then. I could have stood still to hide completely in these. Ahh, long to see them.
