Julian this is fabulous brushwork and colour detail - especially in such a small painting ... but I didn't get it from the mailing list!! I got two mails of the pears and knife ...but no blue shadows ...

Beautiful painting Jullian, love the counter change in the light part of the sky to the shadowed road, perfect. Looks like I'll have to wheel old Joyce out again to haggle it down.

What a pity this one sold so quickly! I wish I had had a chance at it....
