Painting no. 650 in the 'postcard from Provence' series, many thanks for all your support and encouragement. Julian
Your almost daily postcard has become a most enjoyable part of my day. Thank you Julian. Happy 650th. LA
Beautifully handled Julian, it gives me a peaceful reflective feeling. Congratulations on making it to 650. They keep getting better.
Congratulations, Julian, on #650. I consider myself very lucky to have two of your earlier works. Always a pleasure to receive the daily treat in my inbox.
A hearty hardy congratulations!
I "LOVE" getting your almost daily picture. Now, figs are my wife's favorite fruit. Is there any chance this will be made into an available print? Thank you, Nol
Congratulations! Keep up your beautiful work.
happy 650th... well done.
Hurray for your great success and its gift to us, your supporters. I,too, am honored to have one of your early pieces, another fig, my husband's favorite fruit!
Another wow, Julian, sumptuous.
Beautiful figs, stately and regal. Congratulations, Julian on your 650th daily postcard. I have so enjoyed each and every one.
So beautiful - 650 painting and it is our lives that are now so much richer - T H A N K Y O U
Thank you for your comments and emails. I have to thank my wife Ruth too - that's several hundred trips to the post office! et Mireille, oui, ils sont de la figuier de nos voisins.
I've noticed in the last month or so a lovely dusky silver seems to have settled over your paintings. I see it especially when I click back and forth from archives in early 2007 to more recent months. They evoke another time/place....hallowed maybe...
Dear Julian - this painting is a gorgeous birthday present even just as an image on the computer, the colours are wonderful X Mhairi
Number 650 is another gorgeous study, Julian. Thank you for the extraordinary creativity and self-discipline that sustains this project!
As far as the posting goes, luckily a trip to Bedoin also heralds good bread, and Vincent in the post office is very charming! HAPPY BIRTHDAY Mhairi! I hope that man o yours is cooking up a storm for you! (for those of you who do not yet know her, Mhairi is the most gorgeous soprano and her husband Adrian, apart from being a superb cook, is a very classy violinist.....)
