Twenty Years of
Postcard from Provence

February (as always I'm a little late) marked the twentieth anniversary of my little project. Back in 2005 the first emails went to friends and family but slowly I built a small audience which then became quite a large audience after a two paragraph piece in the NYTimes (weekend Homes and Garden section). Those days were dial-up and the day of the publication Ruth and I frantically sold everything I'd ever produced in a matter of hours

Over the following years I've made many friends, met not a few of you in person and I'm deeply appreciative of the community that built up around Postcard from Provence, you have helped support myself and my family for two decades.
