“A hamlet on one of my favourite circuits through the lavender - we usually take our workshoppers on this route but decided this year that it maybe too hot - of course this year has been markedly cooler than years precedent - Que sera, sera”

Just back from France - 9 days early. Cooler yes, wetter much more so! Your emails stimulate me and onstantly spur me on in my personal artistic journey. I share your images with friends always, and they are always enjoyed and appreciated.Do keep going.

I attended a workshop in Provence last July. We painted lavender fields near Aix. It was extremely hot. 100 degree F.

It has been cooler this year and plus Sault is at 3000ft so always a few degrees cooler
Yes I can imagine, Sault where we go is 3000ft above sea level, so several degrees cooler than the valley, this year we have had temperatures in the high eighties but early morning is a chilly 66°F
