Aloha, Julian, husband Dean Wariner and I are always so pleased to open our emails to see your most recent work. By the time we log in, way “over here in Hawaii halfway around the world,” it’s sold. Having said that, do let us know if you have any interest in visiting Maui Hawaii in future. We could try to organize a small workshop, perhaps in the winter months. We wish you and Ruth a happy summer! With aloha across two oceans, Tad Wariner
Hi,
These are so lovely.
I have always dreamed of painting in France and was given a residency and exhibition for June 2024.
The sad thing is I have lost my mobility and I'm waiting for a confirmation of an ALS diagnosis.
I love receiving your emails and dreaming that maybe I don't have it.
Anita
I came across your work by chance and have found it inspirational. I was used to working with watercolour but stopped for a decade when I was caring for my late husband who was suffering from Alzheimer's. When I felt ready to start afresh, my tubes of paint had dried but were still usable. However, a friend gave me some tubes of acrylic and a set of palette knives. Not having a clue how to go about it, somehow I returned to my easel and haven't stopped since. Recently, I have tried my hand at more still life paintings of fruit, flowers and vegetables and this is where your daily postcards have been a joy. Thank you for showing me the way.
