Amazing work!
I love the simplicity of this painting.
I can feel the firmness/crunchiness of the onion. The brushstrokes follow the contour lines so perfectly and give the onion this quality.
and again, a bowl lurks in the background, just enough to show it's presence but not to dominate the main subject.
