“A nice thing happened while doing my chores, I took the week's empty wine bottles to the recycling bin and somebody had left this old cupboard door (the background to this painting) with the rubbish, finders keepers!!.”

So often can one find wonderful items when not expecting to! These apples are like many other apple images you have posted, but these particular ones just stopped me in my tracks. Together with your old door, your apples are just miraculous. I love them.
Old cupboard doors are gold. I’m sure we’ll see this one again.
Aren’t the déchèteries just the best in la belle France! We are in Tarn-et-Garonne and have found so many useable, useful and sometimes even beautiful things there over the years.
