Onion, garlic and a glass of red wine

So 3D, especially those garlic stalks!
Of course the color is striking always!

My comments may appear to be perverted, but from whose viewpoint? Looking at a work of art is emotional, as well as appreciative. There is the technique and composition.
In this painting, as in others, I see underling sexual subtext: in this case the way the garlic stalk projection is a penis, coming from what appears to be testicles.
Not unlike Gustave Courbet's blatant in your face vulva.
Art is the freedom to fascinate.
