Julian, this small painting for me demonstrates how you can say what painting is all about. Composition, tonal balance, colour saturation, extracting maximum visual excitement and beautifully painted. Why would you want to paint huge sized pictures when you can say it all on a small board? - Less is more!!! Kind regards, Graham Lomas
