“A drinking water fountain and communal washing station proudly bearing the installation date of 1896. Difficult to imagine that they were installing things like this at such a late date. It sits on a crossroads a good quarter of a mile from the nearest house.”

This is the most beautiful painting of a fountain I have ever seen. I can hear the water, feel the moss and the sun lingering in parts of the stone. Wow. Wow again.

A superb rendition of a familiar subject. Very beautifully done.
One of yours best paintings. I can hear water falling down and I love the light behind against the rock. Really beautiful .
