So glad to start receiving your paintings again, but glad you had a much deserved holiday!please share with the Nancy who said she hopes to come to your workshop , that THIS Nancy says from personal experience in taking your workshop in such an authentic and wonderfully unpretentious but grand setting, that it is truly life changing and not to delay!
Truly! Best wishes and fond memories,

Good lord, I was afraid we had lost you. Welcome back with your glorious works.

Glad to see you are back in the frame Julian.
Your paintings are always a joy to wake up to.
This one is very uplifting, it inspires me to take my paints into the field.

Kind regards, Graham Lomas

Once again, stunning work. You have inspired me to get out and paint some hay bales this fall!

Painter’s notes

Well I know it's been a while! I took some time off after the July workshops and suddenly the summer is nearly over. We have had a family holiday and I have been working on the 'behind the scenes' stuff—which as I approach my three thousandth daily painting and with the site being nearly 15 years old is unfortunately necessary. I will try to get back in the swing of things, it's surprisingly hard to get going again when you've stopped (you may or may not have heard my Savvy Painter podcast on this very subject! Meanwhile here are some twenty or so of the paintings I completed on the workshops, a few hay bales some lavender and an unpaid for figs. I am offering a 25% discount and free shipping on these paintings till the end of August, just enter the discount code AUGUST at checkout. I will hopefully write again tomorrow.
