“I have been trying to clear the studio but have been having terrible problems with computers, phone lines and now power cuts! Ruth is away playing in Shanghai so you will forgive me if I cannot always get a painting done in the run up to the holidays... meanwhile here are some landscapes, some self portraits and a figure painting that might do if you are looking for last minute gifts. All of these paintings will be discounted by 25% for the next 48 hours, some of them I don't really want to sell but it would be worth it just to start the new year with an empty studio... I can always paint more!”

Always look forward to your seeing your work and short writings.
The link doesn’t take me to where I want to go. I want to view the painting with the figure. It reminds me of a recent series by Eric Fischl. Style, colors so opposite but his stance, what little I can see, reminds me Fischl. Curious to see the rest of the piece.
