Dear Julian, I hope you, Ruth and Lewis are well. I still enjoy receiving your emails, even more so now I have painted with you! It spurs me on to keep at it and hopefully improve! Unfortunately I haven’t managed any plein air yet, but have been busy with still life paintings to replenish stock at two exhibitions and now with boring pet portraits up until Christmas! Trying to get some editorial and may try some competitions, if I can afford them! I hope the rest of your courses went well and you got to swim in the pools in all that hot weather. Kind regards Belinda.x
Hey, Julian~ your emails are rays of sunshine in my days. Thanks for the comments you add, too; they add depth and a little drama. I appreciate you every morning! Thanks
Love your paintings. Your cards and postage are in dollars, can you price them in sterling too please. Thank you Frances
Hi Julian As an old (75 years) Art History major who got the bug studying at the Stanford U campus in Florence, I love your beautiful little works of art which arrive daily in my inbox. I wish I could afford to purchase one now and then but must content myself with the images you send. Thank you for sharing these gems and lovely little tidbits about your life and loved ones. Would love to see a painting of your wife and young son but understand that it is probably too personal. Just know I greatly appreciate your talent. Have a wonderful holiday season. Your loyal fan, Marianne Conley
I love your paintings. I resumed my own practice because of you - thank you! No website yet, but will attend to it soon
Postcards from Provence is a bright spot in my day. Your art keeps my memories of time in Provence lively, as well as inspires me to work on my own art (weaving) each and every day. I also enjoy your brief commentaries. Thank you for sharing your passion so generously.
wonderful passion and dedication. just ordered cards. still think measurements, to be meaningful in the U.S., should also be in inches.
