very merry work.
Happy Christmas to you and all your family, Regards Marion Long Thank you for all those lovely paintings I so look forward to them.
Lovely... so many strange leafy Xmas beasties have arrived at the Golden Ball to engage with your human festivities. I wish you all a very merry season as I celebrate the same quietly along with the delightful images of my former inkwells which have just arrived at my door. Thank you so much for sleighing so freshly and brilliantly through the Xmas clichées.
An invitation to share, on Christmas eve, your joy, happiness and exultation with us through this work. Full of colored cracklings, a heartwarming painting. Merry Christmas to Louis, Ruth and you.
happy holidays julien, my best to you and your family many thanks for sharing your art tim
Thanks for this one Julian...you just took my breath away!! Merry Christmas to you and your lovely little family. Anita
I have run out of superlatives! This is just lovely. The colour of the whisky against the bauble and again, those superb shadowy areas you create with that beautiful red holly! Wonderful job! The holly will always remind me of my childhood in England - going out in the fields behind us in our little village on Christmas Day, picking holly with my Dad to decorate our house while Mum was busy, as usual, in the kitchen. Thank you for sharing your special gift and a Merry Christmas from Canada.
This painting shows the warmth of Christmas. It is another "quiet comfort" work. This would make a beautiful Christmas card for next year if you are inclined to do reproductions. I also like this painting because it seems to tell a story, Julian - but I get to use my own interpretation. Nice!
Happy Christmas!
I agree with Elaine C. -- also from Canada. I so look forward to receiving your artwork each mid-afternoon. You make each piece, effortless, when we all know otherwise. Here's wishing you all sorts of happiness and goodness over this holiday season and peace to you and your family throughout the coming year. Blessings / Tony
A lovely Festive painting Julian. Wishing you and your family a happy Christmas and onwards into hopefully a quiet and creative 2015 Regards Sarah Orchard
Gorgeous indeed. You are a true artist and prove it almost every day. Merry Christmas to you, Ruth And Louis.
Merry Christmas, Julian and Family! The colours are sumptious! I just put our fruitcake in the oven and am hoping it will be sumptious too! God bless you and yours, C-Marie. USA
Dear Julian, thank you for another year of joy. I am reminded often of the majesties of our world through your work which so often reflects what I see outside my window halfway around the world!
This was a surprise as I don't think I have ever seen you use items such as these before in a still life. I'm not a big Christmas enthusiast (which is a cowardly way of saying "Bah Humbug") but this is so very charming and skillfully executed I had to write. I especially like the glass ball, the brushwork is perfect. I could almost get in the spirit of the season with this. Well done Julian!
Now this is lovely! Merry Christmas!!
Beautiful painting - Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Goodness! Your work has become really luscious this last year ... gorgeous. Happy Christmas!
?? ?? Your holly painting reminded me of my walk last week to pick mine. Lots of berries this year which is said to be a sign of a cold winter to come! Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas and Healthy and Fun Filled 2015 From Loraine in frosty Scotland ?? ??
Lovely Julian this painting sparkles. Wishes for a very happy Christmas to you, Ruth and Louis. Look forward to seeing you next year.
Picking out holly on the Ventoux must be fun especially if Louis is with you. Happy Holidays to all. BM
