Maybe some paintings of rain are in order? Your work is solid. Well done.
Love those edges and shadows. I've just been looking at your archives and gosh that makes wonderful viewing too.
Looks terrific!
Love it! Making it my Thanksgiving screensaver - hope you don't mind :) Amazing!
Hi Julian I love looking at your daily paintings. If only I had the time to paint every day. Your current painting of clementines on a gold rimmed plate is beautiful. Keep up the good work. Cheers from Glenda In very warm Adelaide, South Australia
The dark dramatic background really highlights that fruit, Julian. It almost looks as though they are "on stage" standing under a spotlight.
You have my sympathy, Julian, I live in the Pacific Northwest, on the coast where the temperatures are usually mild, but we get lots of rain, and it's dark all day often in the winter. Nothing to do but hibernate. I especially loved the glass (of whiskey?) you posted a couple of days ago. Best to you and your family, Naomi
Lovely! Unlike the weather here!
Dear Julian, buckets of rain here as well, very tedious, so soggy and dark. Could this be the little gold rimmed aqua plate that has featured in the past? The clementines almost emit a scent, lovely. They glow like a lit fireplace, warm and cosy. Anna H.
Yes, that's the one. Like most of my 'props' it's been broken and mended and the cup has long gone. I'm pretty sure Ruth's mum gave it to me. Julian
Luscious!
I do love all these lemons, they are wonderful, but I'm so missing the landscapes! Any plans? Best wishes, Andrea
