This is a masterpiece - the colors, texture, light and composition are right on - love this (and I don't even like garlic to eat)!

Wow! .... I'm loving these colors, Julien! The mustard yellow with the tans and beiges make for an interesting and eye-catching change. You have given me some much needed inspiration for when I get the opportunity and time to paint again. I hope that time comes sooner than later. Julian, this is just beautiful!!! I love your palette - all the wheat-y hues tie everything together. It's a perfect inspiration for working with a limited palette!

Julian, I have often wondered how to explain your use of unexpected color. Perhaps it is a typo but I love Char's use of "dods" of color -- not spots, not pops, not brushstrokes -- from now on, they'll be Julian's DODS!

Julian, another fascinating presentation of the ordinary! I often wonder how to explain your use of unexpected color. It's not exactly splashes or pops or brushstrokes, but Char's comment may have it! Now they'll always be Julian's "DODS!"
