Julian:

I hear a sigh at the end of that sentence. Have a glass of wine and read The Owl and the Pussycat to your child, 'cause I'm sure you know that they dined on quince.

PS: The painting is lovely.

Do you really read these?

Alain

Optical illusion: a wonderful sunny landscape seen through the "entrance" of a dark cavern!
When a golden quince turned into a bright landscape thanks to power of the creativity.

Dear Julian, Brancusi's " Dreaming Muse", perhaps dreaming of Alain's sun drenched landscape!

Julian, I usually post the first words which come to mind. Later, I returned to the magnificent quince to read the thoughtful and creative responses and decided that I was glad I hadn't posted. Then on second thought, no other word comes to mind except "Gnarly!" Strange, even for me!
