Loved this image. with the great sweeping dark curve of the leaf on left, it looks like the orange is still falling out of the tree. Very lovely image Julian. Bet the marmalade was yummy too. cheers, geo

I am now looking forward to paintings of three jars of marmalade, or the jar on the table with a croissant or piece of baguette with butter at hand, or the jars with some of your pottery pieces.

Painter’s notes

One of a big bagful of Seville oranges I bought to make marmalade—I last made marmalade three or four years ago and we've just run out causing a certain panic at breakfast
