Another great still life. I love the richness of colour and the contrast between the glossy and matt surfaces. Wonderful paint handling.

The cherries are, as always, amazing, but the leaves - they leap off the page (okay, screen) and beg to be touched. Incredible visual texture.

When you look at this and compare it to some of the 2005 still lives you see how far you've come and developed. This is masterful and really inspiring.
