“I've lost or mislaid a lot 'props' in the chaos of the last few months, I hope they'll turn up. This bowl was made by Sophie Lassagne in St. Remy (though she has now moved to Arles). Sophie makes beautifully shaped, highly polished ceramics that sort of wink out of the dark”

Masterful rendering of the light on Sophie's blue ceramic. It's a lesson on keeping darks, dark and rich.
Mysterious and once again amazing.
I think you and your family have been extraordinarily brave and cheerful through all your recent upheavals and distractions I include Louis in that. Is there any guess about when you will be settled as before? Your art has certainly not suffered,and today's bowl seems to be smiling.
