It's gorgeous. The pumpkin beats an apple a day, at least on this day, though I realize you are fond of apples.

A secret Society of ghosts,in the crescent moon-shaped slice,seems to prattle on about Halloween 2011...
I love the fruit paintings of late-- the Quinces and Apples from a few days ago will not turn me loose. It's right up there with the jar of white flowers from early last month. This one ? -- here in Virginia that is a cantaloupe. We've got carved up, more thin fleshed pumpkins all over the homescapes after Monday's Halloween . I guess to each his gourd.
