So lovely, Julian. I, too, have noticed the joy and life in your recent work; Louis is definitely having an affect on your work. I love the contrast of light and shade. I am curious about these shelters...how do they look up close?

They range from the basic with one shuttered opening and a door to complete little two storey houses with a fireplace though seldom a hard floor, here is a closer view of one I painted in March... Cabanon à Bedoin
