I was so intrigued by the name for this onion that I looked up its history.
I must say that I am equally fascinated by the unusual background for this
Roscoff. It works well, as Alain has already noted. Now I will try to figure out why.

Tried to paint an onion myself today as part of a still life, I almost pulled my hair out. IT very hard to get the colors right. Carol
